The Lennox

(Downtown Granville Street)

Lennox" is a Celtic word meaning "a grove of elm trees", perhaps such a place where ancient Celts met to honour divinities like Odin or to meet friends for a drink.

The Lennox Pub opened its doors in February of 2000 and has been going strong ever since. The location at the corner of Granville and Robson streets is a great place for a bite before a show or to unwind after a busy day at work. The mural beside the bar depicts Odin's gift of the runes, or alphabet, to mankind. This theme is repeated in the room which is an attractive blend of wood and wrought iron, with high ceilings, and an outdoor patio, great for people watching.
